NYPD Investigates Burglary at Popeye’s on Forest Avenue

NEW YORK, NY — A burglary occurred at a Popeye’s restaurant located at 1351 Forest Avenue on April 6, at approximately 3:10 AM. An unidentified male suspect gained entry by opening the front door, from where he proceeded to steal $900 from the cash register before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported following the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a Knicks varsity jacket, a light-colored knit hat, light-colored pants, and boots. Authorities are seeking information from the public to aid in the apprehension of the individual responsible for the burglary.
