Stafford Township Police Address Unsubstantiated Bomb Threat at Local High School

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ – On April 11, 2024, the Stafford Township Police Department responded to a potential bomb threat at Southern Regional High School. The threat was reported to authorities at approximately 11:35 AM by the New Jersey State Police.

Working in conjunction with the Southern Regional School District Administration, the Stafford Police conducted a swift investigation into the threat. After a thorough assessment, it was determined that the threat was unsubstantiated and there was no immediate danger to students or staff.

The investigation into the origin of the threat is ongoing. Despite the disruption, the Southern Regional School District has resumed its regular schedule, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all its community members.
