Montgomery Resident Wins $250K in PA Lottery Powerball Draw

by Local News Report

Middletown, PA – A Montgomery County resident has won $250,000 from the Pennsylvania Lottery after purchasing a Powerball ticket online. The winning ticket was for the Saturday drawing.

The ticket accurately matched four of the five white balls and the red Powerball, earning the player a significant sum thanks to the Power Play option. Without this feature, the prize would have been $50,000. The drawn multiplier was five.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn—7, 33, 40, 43, 69—and the red Powerball 10, winning $250,000 after withholdings.

Lottery officials have stated that the identity of winners remains anonymous until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Instructions for claiming winnings are available on the Pennsylvania Lottery website.
