Hate Crime Investigation: Burglary and Vandalism at Glen Burnie Church

Glen Burnie, MD – Detectives from the Northern District are currently investigating a hate crime incident involving the burglary and vandalism of the Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 126 Dorsey Road. The crime occurred during the early hours of April 14.

A male suspect, described as a heavy-set black male with a bald head and a full beard, was involved in breaking a window to gain entry into the church. This act has led to the classification of the event as a hate crime due to the deliberate targeting of church property. Authorities are seeking assistance in identifying the suspect and encourage anyone with information to contact the Northern District Detective Unit at 410-222-6135 or to use the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at 410-222-4700 for anonymous tips.
