Student Spotted with Water Pistol Mistaken for Gun at School

An investigation was conducted following a report of a student holding what seemed to be a gun in the parking lot of Putnam Valley High School in Putnam County last Friday at 12:15 p.m.

The student was later found at Northern Westchester BOCES campus in Yorktown, where it was discovered that the object in question was a water pistol.

Police confirmed no arrests were made, and regular classes resumed following the incident.
