Delaware Man Arrested for DUI for Sixth Time

Clayton, DE – Delaware State Police apprehended 60-year-old Victor Tusso of Clayton, Delaware, for a 6th felony DUI offense on Saturday afternoon. The incident unfolded at about 3:03 p.m. when a trooper responded to a Ford Taurus that had collided with a mailbox and a fence on the 700 block of Wheatley’s Pond Road near Clayton.

Following the crash, Victor Tusso displayed signs of impairment leading to his arrest for driving under the influence. A computer check confirmed five previous DUI-related convictions on his record.

No injuries were reported from the crash. Tusso was found with a small quantity of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia during the ensuing search of his person and vehicle.

After the arrest, Tusso was transported to Troop 9, where he faced charges for various offences. Subsequently, he was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and detained at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of a $6,450 secured bond.
