ALBANY, NY — The New York Lottery has confirmed that a third-prize-winning Powerball ticket from the May 25 drawing was sold in Albany.
The ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at Stewart’s Shops located at 482 Albany-Shaker Rd.
Powerball numbers are drawn from two sets: the white balls from one to 69, and the red Power Ball from one to 26. Drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM.
