Louisville, OH — Robin Jumbe is celebrating after winning $150,000 playing the Ohio Lottery’s $150,000 Blast scratch-off game.

Robin purchased her winning ticket at Acme Fresh Market, located at 3979 Medina Rd in Akron. Describing her reaction, she said, “I got maybe 5 or 6 scratch-offs out of the machine or whatever. You know, went home, relaxed, scratched the first scratch-offs and was like, ‘oh my god’.”

She shared the news with her aunt, who she often plays scratch-offs with, and described the moment as, “She’s freaking out.”

Robin expressed that winning the top prize is a significant milestone after many years of playing. “I’ve been scratching for all these years, like 10-15 years or whatever. I’ve gotten little small wins like $500, $1,000 but never nothing like that,” she said.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Robin will take home approximately $108,000. She plans to use her winnings to pay some bills and contribute to her retirement savings.
