This initiative aims to protect citizens from the increasing risks of robberies, thefts, and scams associated with online transactions.
The “Safe Transaction Zone,” established in April 2015, is located in the lobby of the Evesham Township Police Headquarters at 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, NJ. The area, along with the surrounding parking lots, is well-lit and monitored by a state-of-the-art surveillance system to ensure safety.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this secure environment to finalize their online purchases and avoid potential dangers from meeting unknown individuals in unsecured locations.
