QUEENSTOWN, MD – A fire incident involving a 2013 Club Car golf cart occurred at 500 Amberly Farm Lane, Queenstown, Queen Anne’s County. The fire, which took place at 4:30 P.M. on July 16, was not reported until Tuesday by the homeowner, Susan Crossley.

The fire caused an estimated $4,500 in damages to the golf cart. There were no injuries or deaths associated with the incident. Smoke alarms and fire alarms were not applicable in this case, and no arrests have been made.

The Queenstown Volunteer Fire Company was the primary responding department. The number of alarms and firefighters involved remains unknown. The time taken to control the fire has not been determined.
