Bronx Rapist At Large, Sought by NYPD

NEW YORK, NY – Police are searching for a suspect following an attempted sexual assault that occurred early on Thursday in the Bronx.

The incident was reported around 2:10 AM near the intersection of E 148 Street and Saint Anns Avenue.

A 38-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified male who attempted to sexually assault her. Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where she is currently in stable condition.

Authorities are seeking a male with a dark complexion in connection with the incident. He was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt, black pants, and sandals.

The NYPD urges anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
