BALTIMORE, MD — The death of 6-year-old Brian Graham has led to the arrest of his mother, 34-year-old Jalesia Offer, and her boyfriend, 34-year-old Brandon Wheatley. The Medical Examiner’s office ruled the child’s death a homicide caused by blunt force trauma.
On Wednesday night, patrol officers from the Northwest District responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a home on Greenspring Avenue. The child was transported to a hospital where he later passed away.
Offer and Wheatley have been charged with first-degree child abuse resulting in death and are currently being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
