Police Identify Man Fatally Shot in Capitol Heights

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD — Authorities have identified the man who was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Capitol Heights as 31-year-old Duane Glenn of District Heights.

Police responded to the 400 block of Xenia Avenue just after 1 a.m. on September 21 following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Glenn outside with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspects. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
