Philadelphia police seek suspect in Crown Fried Chicken vandalism incident

PHILADELPHIA — The Central Detective Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a vandalism incident at a Crown Fried Chicken restaurant located at 2201 N. Broad Street. The incident occurred on September 24, 2024, at approximately 2:50 a.m.

According to authorities, the suspect became irate with employees and proceeded to climb the counter, damaging two cash registers, two credit card readers, two receipt printers, and a digital menu monitor. The total damages are estimated at approximately $8,470.

Police have released video clips and still images of the suspect. Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect is urged to contact the Central Detective Division.
