Man Shot Multiple Times Dead in D.C.

Washington, D.C. – A man is dead in D.C. after a shooting in Northwest.

On Wednesday, October 2, at approximately 7:25 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of N Street, Northwest. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim conscious and breathing, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital by D.C. Fire and EMS, where he was admitted.

The victim succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, October 5.

He has been identified as 43-year-old Tiara Thompson of Northwest.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the D.C. Metro Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text their tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is currently offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a homicide in the District of Columbia.
