Henderson County Lifts Curfew Amid State of Emergency

Henderson County, NC – Henderson County continues to operate under a State of Emergency. The county-wide curfew was lifted on Thursday at 7 a.m., however, travel restrictions remain along Highway 64, Highway 74, and Highway 9, notably impacting the Bat Cave and Gerton areas.

The Resource Hub, located at 118 McAbee Court, Flat Rock, will be available for residents beginning Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Community members can drive through to collect essential supplies. The county encourages volunteer participation in ongoing relief efforts.

For those wishing to volunteer, the United Way of Henderson County is coordinating sign-ups for recovery assistance. People interested can register at www.liveunitedhc.org/volunteer. Additional resources can be obtained through the reopening EOC Call Center, operational from Monday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
