by Breaking Local News Report

Gloucester Township, NJ – Volunteer Robin Spina was acknowledged at the Annual Gloucester Township Citizens Appreciation Park Ceremony. He was celebrated for his contributions to the Gloucester Township Police Department (GTPD).

Spina completed the GTPD Citizen’s Police Academy in 2019 and became a Volunteer In Police Service member. Although retired, he serves as a GTPD Crossing Guard and works with the Camden County Board of Elections. His previous 40-year career in marketing and communications involved notable campaigns for large health insurance companies and medical institutions.

A resident of Gloucester Township for 41 years, Spina has been married for 50 years. He has two adult children, including GTPD Patrolman Matt Spina, which spurred his interest in volunteering. The ceremony also celebrated other citizens in Gloucester Township for their contributions to the community.
