MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Bucks County for the October 23 drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced. The winning ticket matched all five white balls—2, 15, 27, 29, and 39—but missed the red Powerball number, 20.
The ticket was purchased at Cigarette Outlet, located at 2 South Delmorr Avenue in Morrisville. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus.
The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and to claim their prize within one year of the drawing date. In addition to the million-dollar prize, more than 41,100 other Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania won smaller prizes, including over 7,700 tickets purchased with Power Play® and more than 3,900 with Double Play®.
A jackpot-winning Powerball ticket worth an estimated $478.2 million was also sold in Georgia for the same drawing.
