Georgetown, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating an assault that took place on Sandhill Road, Georgetown. The incident occurred on the night of October 30, when a woman was attacked by an unidentified male.

Detectives responded to Beebe Healthcare in Lewes in the early hours of Thursday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., following the report. The assault happened as the victim approached a parked car on the side of the road near her residence on the 18000 block. She used a flashlight taser to fend off the attack, and the assailant fled.
