Sharon Stone Says Americans Are Naive And Uneducated After Trump, Republicans Sweep 2024 Election Cycle

by Breaking Local News Report

TURIN, Italy — Actress Sharon Stone drew attention at the Torino Film Festival this week with sharp remarks about former President Donald Trump and her critique of American society, calling voters who elected him “naive” and “uneducated.”

Speaking at the festival in Turin, Stone described the United States as being in an “adolescent” phase, which she associated with arrogance and ignorance. “My country is in the midst of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything,” she said.

Stone claimed that the lack of international travel among Americans contributes to this naivete, noting, “Americans who don’t travel, who 80% don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.”

The actress also appeared to compare Trump to Italian fascist leader Benito Mussolini, implying a parallel between the rise of authoritarianism and the perceived inexperience of U.S. voters.

Her remarks were made during an international event where she also reflected on broader societal challenges, using the platform to comment on political and cultural divides.

Sharon Stone’s bold remarks at Torino Film Festival spark debate over Americans and politics.
