PORT VUE, Pa. — A 16-year-old has been charged in connection with a shooting Thursday night that left another juvenile male injured on Romine Avenue, according to Allegheny County Police.

Authorities said the incident occurred around 10:08 p.m. in the 1300 block of Romine Avenue. Emergency responders found the victim, whose identity has not been released, with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

The Allegheny County Police General Investigations Unit was called to assist and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting. Officials confirmed that the 16-year-old suspect has been charged, but further details about the charges have not been disclosed.
