SECAUCUS, NJ — Lieutenant Christopher Rinaldi of the Secaucus Police Department was recognized at last night’s town council meeting for his volunteer efforts in organizing blood drives that have saved or sustained 715 lives.
Since launching the initiative in July 2021 with support from Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Rinaldi has coordinated over 12 blood drives in the Secaucus community. His dedication to the cause has provided critical support to hospitals and patients in need.
“Christopher’s efforts are a testament to his commitment to serving the community, not just through his role as a police officer, but also by helping save lives in this meaningful way,” the Secaucus Police Department shared in a statement.
Rinaldi’s ongoing contributions to the blood drive program have had a tangible impact, underscoring the power of volunteerism and collaboration in supporting public health initiatives.
