TOMS RIVER, NJ – The following individuals were booked into the Ocean County Jail in the past 24 hours on charges. Each incident is independent of itself.

Estiven Ferney Vidalospina, a 25-year-old male, was booked into Ocean County custody on December 17, 2024, on a shoplifting charge. Records indicate Vidalospina is accused of violating statute 2C:20-11B(1), which pertains to carrying away merchandise unlawfully, a disorderly persons offense in New Jersey. He is being held without bail, and no additional details about the incident or hearing information have been released.

Alana Q. Bergstrom, a 22-year-old female, was incarcerated on December 18, 2024, facing multiple charges including conspiracy, loitering for drug-related purposes, and manufacturing or distributing heroin or cocaine under 0.5 ounces. Bergstrom, who was charged under statutes 2C:5-2A(1), 2C:33-2.1B, and 2C:35-5B(3), is being held without bail. The charges, all disorderly persons or third-degree offenses, remain under investigation, and no further details were provided.

Gilberth Gerardo Vargas Venegas, a 38-year-old male, was booked into Ocean County custody on December 17, 2024, for driving without a valid driver’s license. Celso Ledo-Martinez, a 35-year-old male, was incarcerated on December 16, 2024, on multiple charges, including possession and distribution of controlled dangerous substances and hindering apprehension by providing false information to law enforcement. Ledo-Martinez’s charges fall under statutes 2C:35-5A(1) and 2C:29-3B(4). His bond is set at $26,000, including a $25,000 10-percent option. Records indicate no detainers or aliases for the inmate.
