by Local News Report

WATERBURY, CT — A Connecticut Lottery player struck it big, winning $100,000 on the “$150,000 a Year for Life” game with a ticket purchased in Waterbury.

Andrew I. bought the winning ticket at Waterbury Convenience & Smo-Ko, securing a six-figure prize in one of the state’s most lucrative scratch-off games.

The “$150,000 a Year for Life” game offers players the chance to win an annual payout of $150,000 for life or a lump sum prize. Lower-tier prizes, including $100,000, provide additional opportunities for big wins.

Lottery winners in Connecticut have 180 days to claim their prizes. It is unclear whether Andrew I. has collected his winnings.
