Go Home, Eh! Canadian Drug Trafficker Was Just Deported by U.S. Customs

by Breaking Local News Report

BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has removed Christopher Anthony Frater, a 32-year-old Canadian citizen, to his home country, where he will serve the remainder of his federal sentence for drug trafficking.

Frater was deported on March 7 under the Canadian Treaty Transfer program. He was convicted in the U.S. District Court in Nebraska on Sept. 14, 2023, for possession with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine and sentenced to 120 months in prison.

Authorities determined Frater had violated the terms of his U.S. admission after entering the country on or about July 11, 2022. ICE located him in the Federal Correctional Institution in Ray Brook, New York, and processed his removal based on his noncitizen status and conviction.
