HERMITAGE, PA — A Golden Vault Fast Play ticket worth a jaw-dropping $234,946 was sold at a Walmart in Mercer County, igniting lottery buzz across the region.

The winning ticket was purchased Thursday at the Walmart on 1275 North Hermitage Road. The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the high-stakes winner, Pennsylvania Lottery officials confirmed.

Golden Vault is a $10 Fast Play game with progressive jackpots that climb until claimed. Unlike Scratch-Offs, these tickets are printed instantly and require no scratching or waiting for a draw — just cash, print, and check.

The lucky ticket holder has not yet been identified. To claim the prize, they must sign the ticket and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481. All prizes over $5,000 are subject to standard withholding.

Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of purchase. The Lottery also reminds players that March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, and free, confidential help is available by calling 1-800-GAMBLER or visiting pacouncil.com.
