Domestic assault suspect jailed in Ocean County

by Breaking Local News Report

Michael Anthony Cusaneli found himself behind bars in Ocean County this week, after being booked on some serious charges.

He was taken into custody on April 21.

Jail records show Cusaneli is facing charges of conspiracy and aggravated assault related to domestic violence, specifically involving strangulation.

Authorities have placed a “no bail” status on Cusaneli’s case, meaning he won’t be walking out of jail anytime soon unless a judge decides otherwise in a pretrial hyearing.

The conspiracy charge is a fourth-degree offense, but the aggravated assault is a much more serious second-degree charge — a heavyweight in the legal world.

If convicted, Cusaneli could be facing significant prison time.
