Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department’s 2nd District Investigative Section are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a residential burglary that occurred last month in Chevy Chase.
The incident took place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at approximately 12:28 p.m. at a residence located in the 8000 block of Freyman Drive. According to investigators, the suspect forced entry into the home, stole property, and then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male of average height with a skinny to medium build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, black shoes, and was carrying a black backpack along with a maroon briefcase.
Police release image, offer reward for information
A surveillance image of the suspect has been released, and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at www.crimesolversmcmd.org or call 1-866-411-8477. Tips can be submitted anonymously and may be eligible for a reward ranging from $250 to $10,000.
Authorities continue to investigate and are seeking assistance to identify and locate the suspect involved in this daytime burglary.
