WARREN COUNTY, NJ – A Warren County lottery player has claimed a $240,150 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot after matching all five numbers and the Bullseye in Tuesday night’s drawing, New Jersey Lottery officials announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #11460, located at 42 Route 517 in Hackettstown. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The winning numbers for the May 6 drawing were 17, 23, 37, 39, and 44. The XTRA was 03, and the Bullseye number was 23. The prize marks the second Jersey Cash 5 jackpot won in just four draws and is the 21st jackpot awarded in the game this year.
In addition to the top prize winner, eight players matched four numbers along with the Bullseye and XTRA, each winning $1,000. Another 24 players matched four numbers and the Bullseye to take home $500 each.
Jersey Cash 5, one of New Jersey’s most popular daily draw games, continues to award frequent jackpots to players across the state.
Hackettstown win adds to growing string of Jersey Cash 5 jackpots
The Bullseye option, which costs an extra $1, gives players an additional chance to win by targeting a single bonus number. Combined with the XTRA multiplier, it can significantly increase winnings in non-jackpot prize tiers.
Lottery officials have not disclosed the identity of the latest winner, who has one year from the draw date to claim the prize. Winners are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets immediately and contact the New Jersey Lottery for claim instructions.
This latest win highlights a recent streak of large payouts in the Jersey Cash 5 game, which has gained momentum in recent weeks with multiple top prizes awarded.
The New Jersey Lottery continues to remind players to check their tickets and to play responsibly.
