BALTIMORE, MD — A 40-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot early Monday morning in Baltimore’s Central District, according to police.
Officers responded at approximately 12:59 a.m. on May 12 to the 1000 block of Comet Court, where they discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
A preliminary investigation determined that the shooting took place nearby, in the 1000 block of New Hope Circle, before the victim made it to Comet Court.
Police seek information in overnight shooting case
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward. No suspect information has been released, and no arrests have been made as of Monday morning.
