ATWATER, Ohio — A woman from Atwater hit the jackpot after purchasing a $10 “Feeling Lucky” scratch-off ticket, claiming the game’s $300,000 top prize, lottery officials confirmed Thursday.

The winning ticket was sold at the Walmart Supercenter located at 2600 State Route 59 in Ravenna. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home $216,000.

The “Feeling Lucky” game is one of the Ohio Lottery’s active $10 scratch-offs. As of Thursday, eight top prizes of $300,000 still remain.

The winner’s name has not been released, and no additional details about the time of purchase or when the ticket was scratched have been provided.

The Ohio Lottery introduced the Feeling Lucky game earlier this year, offering hundreds of thousands of additional cash prizes at various levels beyond the top prize.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
