Man walks into hospital with gunshot wound as West Baltimore shooting traced to intersection
Baltimore, MD — A man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound early Friday morning, leading police to trace the shooting back to a West Baltimore intersection.
Officers responded around 4:15 a.m. to a hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, they located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police said the victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting occurred near the intersection of Edmondson Avenue and Mount Holly Street.
Detectives from the Southwest District are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. No suspect information has been released.
