EAST HAMPTON, NY – A Take 5 top-prize ticket worth $37,400 was sold in East Hampton for the evening drawing on Friday, Dec. 6, the New York Lottery announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at Eastend Retail Distributor, located at 148 North Main Street. The prize-winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn from a field of one through 39 in the popular New York Lottery game.
The Take 5 drawing occurs twice daily, with numbers selected at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners have up to one year from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.
The New York Lottery, which remains the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, contributed $3.8 billion to public schools across New York State in fiscal year 2023-2024.
