NEW YORK, NY – A 48-year-old man was shot and killed in Brooklyn.
On Monday, police responded to a distressing 911 call reporting a male gunshot victim at 4052 White Plains Road, a local bodega, located within the boundaries of the 47th Precinct. The incident occurred at approximately 12:03 p.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 48-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his back.
Medical assistance was provided EMS at the scene. The victim was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where, he was pronounced dead.
At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
The identification of the deceased individual is being withheld pending notification of his family.
