NEW YORK – A 90-something-year-old man was shot in the leg while riding his motorized scooter in Brooklyn early Monday morning.
According to police, the man was shot at around 9:35 am. in the area of Bergen Street and Rochester Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The man was taken to Kings County Hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the scene. Police did not say whether or not the incident was targeted or whether or not the elderly man was struck by a stray bullet.
No arrests have been made.
