CAMDEN, NJ – Taurean Gordon, a 40-year-old resident of Irvington, New Jersey, was sentenced to 108 months in prison today for charges related to drug trafficking and illegal firearms possession. U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced that Gordon faced multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine, and illegal possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.

The sentencing took place in Camden federal court by U.S. Circuit Judge Stephanos Bibas. Gordon had previously entered a guilty plea to a superseding information that included one count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Court documents reveal that on February 11, 2021, Gordon was found with heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine, all packaged for distribution.

He also admitted to possessing a North American Arms Inc. revolver, loaded with five rounds of ammunition. Alongside his prison term, Gordon is sentenced to three years of supervised release and is ordered to forfeit the firearm, ammunition, and $526 seized during his arrest.
