PITTSBURGH, PA—Detectives from the Violent Crime and Computer Crime units arrested Jamill Roberts, 18, of Pittsburgh, following a brief vehicle chase in the Hill District on Wednesday.
The pursuit led to Roberts’ arrest not only for the chase but also for a robbery at the Samba Minimart on Bedford Avenue that occurred last Saturday.
Roberts faces multiple charges including Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting Arrest, Conspiracy, and stop sign violations.
Following his arrest, Roberts was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
The case is currently under further investigation by local authorities.
