WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a bank robbery that took place in downtown D.C. earlier this year. The Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of 34-year-old Reginald Williams, who has no fixed address, on August 7.

The robbery occurred on February 6 at approximately 9:20 a.m. when the suspect approached a teller in a bank located in the 1700 block of K Street, Northwest. The suspect implied he was armed and demanded money, which the teller provided before the suspect fled the scene.

Williams has been charged with robbery, bringing an end to a months-long investigation by police.
