BATON ROUGE, La. — At least five people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning on Greenwell Springs Road, according to an Emergency Medical Services spokesperson. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. in the 9700 block of Greenwell Springs Road.
EMS transported five individuals to a hospital following the shooting, though their conditions have not been released, officials said.
Baton Rouge police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No further information was immediately available.
