DC police seek suspects in retail theft and assault on K Street

WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for three suspects involved in a retail theft and assault that occurred last week in Northwest Washington and are asking for the public’s help to identify them.

On Monday, November 4, at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of K Street NW after receiving a report of a theft and assault inside a retail store. According to police, three suspects entered the store, stole merchandise, and then assaulted three people while fleeing the scene. The victims declined medical treatment at the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured images of two of the suspects, which have been released by the police in hopes of identifying those involved.

Anyone with information on the suspects or details about the incident is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police Department by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
