BALTIMORE, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Western Baltimore that left one man dead and another injured Monday morning after police responded to a ShotSpotter alert.
The incident occurred around 9:12 a.m. on the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue, where officers found a 40-year-old man and an unidentified adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics transported both victims to area hospitals. The 40-year-old man was pronounced dead, while the condition of the second victim remains unknown, according to police.
