Teen girl molested on new york city subway train

Police are investigating an assault that occurred on the subway at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle station on Tuesday morning. According to reports, at around 7:55 AM, a 15-year-old female was exiting a northbound 1 train when she was inappropriately touched by an unknown man.

The incident took place as the victim was leaving the train. The suspect, described as a male approximately 5’10” tall and between 35 to 40 years of age, approached the victim from behind and grabbed her buttocks before the train doors closed. He continued northbound on the train, leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as having a brown beard and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers, and carrying a grey backpack. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries from the incident.

The New York City Police Department is actively seeking information to identify and apprehend the suspect. They encourage anyone with information to come forward.
