BALTIMORE — A 13-year-old has been arrested in connection with an armed carjacking that took place Sunday evening in Baltimore County, police said Wednesday.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:25 p.m. in the 4400 block of Alan Drive, where the suspect displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene, according to detectives with the Baltimore County Police Carjacking Team.
The juvenile suspect was taken into custody and is currently placed with the Department of Juvenile Services, authorities said.
Police have not released further details on the suspect or whether the vehicle was recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing.
