Driver killed in single-vehicle crash on Hawkins Point Road

BALTIMORE, MD – A man was killed Wednesday night following a single-vehicle crash in South Baltimore, according to city police.

The crash occurred around 10 p.m. on April 2 in the 2500 block of Hawkins Point Road. Southern District patrol officers arrived at the scene and found the driver unresponsive inside the vehicle with multiple injuries.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The man’s identity has not yet been confirmed, and authorities are working to notify next of kin.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Crash Team is investigating the cause of the crash. No additional vehicles were involved, and further details have not been released.
