Armed robbery suspect sought in chesapeake convenience store heist

CHESAPEAKE, VA — Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that took place on March 25 at a convenience store in the 2300 block of Border Road, the Chesapeake Police Department announced Wednesday.

According to authorities, the individual shown in surveillance footage entered the store and committed the robbery before fleeing the scene. Details of the incident, including whether anyone was injured or what was stolen, have not been disclosed.
