WATERBURY, Conn. — A Connecticut Lottery player scored a $50,000 prize after purchasing a Money Rush ticket at 7-Eleven Store #11491A in Oakville, officials confirmed.
The winner, identified as Alvaro S., claimed the prize on Monday after matching the winning conditions on the scratch-off ticket.
Money Rush is one of the Connecticut Lottery’s popular games offering sizable top prizes.
The 7-Eleven retailer will receive a sales bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials reminded players to sign their tickets immediately and follow proper claim procedures.
