WOODBRIDGE, VA – A 35-year-old man was shot and killed and another wounded following an argument that turned violent along Telegraph Road in Woodbridge Saturday night, police said.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. to the 13700 block, where they found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as David Kapay Kallo of Fredericksburg, was pronounced dead at the scene by fire and rescue personnel.
A second man, 27, fled the scene after being shot and was located at a nearby restaurant. He was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Detectives said the initial investigation shows Kallo was engaged in an argument with two unidentified men shortly before the gunfire. Authorities believe the shooting was not a random act.
Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects or who may have witnessed the confrontation to come forward as the investigation continues.
