Woman wanted after late-night stabbing in Southeast DC sparks police manhunt

Washington, DC – A stabbing late Monday night in the 3200 block of Minnesota Avenue SE has launched a search for a woman seen fleeing the scene, as officers from the Metropolitan Police Department’s 6th District continue their investigation.

Shortly before midnight, police were called to the area following reports of a stabbing. The condition of the victim has not been released, and investigators have not provided further details regarding the circumstances of the attack.

Officers are now searching for a suspect described as a Black female with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

The investigation is active, and anyone with information is urged not to approach the suspect. Instead, contact the Metropolitan Police Department by calling 911 or reaching out to the MPD Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to the department’s tip line by texting 50411.

The motive behind the stabbing and the relationship, if any, between the victim and the suspect has not been disclosed.
