Washington, DC – A group of masked men struck in broad daylight Tuesday morning during a robbery in the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue NW, prompting an active investigation by 4th District officers.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m., when Metropolitan Police Department units responded to reports of a robbery involving at least three suspects. Witnesses described the suspects as Black males wearing ski masks and dark clothing, with one carrying a backpack.

Police said two of the suspects appear to be between 20 and 25 years old, with slim builds and dressed entirely in black. A third suspect, described as approximately 30 years old, was seen wearing a black and white jacket along with a ski mask. Specific details about the robbery and whether anyone was injured have not yet been released.

No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large. The MPD is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to contact the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or submit an anonymous tip by texting 50411.
