Washington, DC – Monday shortly before 5 p.m., witnesses reported three masked youths speeding away on Lime bicycles after an armed robbery in the 4700 block of Meade Street NE, launching an active investigation by 6th District units and a public safety alert for nearby residents.

MPD units responded to reports of a robbery at about 5:00 p.m. on the 4700 block of Meade Street NE and are searching for two Black male suspects, approximately 15 to 18 years old, seen riding Lime bicycles. Suspect 1 was last seen wearing a grey Nike hoodie; suspect 2 was wearing a black Nike hoodie. Officers say the subjects are armed. No further information has been released at this time.
